Just One Thing FAQs
What is this?
It’s an experiment.
Whaddaya mean?
Since most blogs zig, I wondered what would happen if I created a blog that zagged.
Huh?
You see, most me-zines have a huge volume of material. Their creators offer opinions on everything, update their site a dozen times a day, and provide scads of links. Some of these me-zines are amazingly good. The thing is, I don’t have an opinion on everything. And I’m too lazy to constantly update a site (or to correct split infinitives). So I figured I’d try the opposite approach.
What does that mean?
Each day, I’ll offer just one thing that I find interesting or funny or outrageous or revealing or useful. That format—call it a “mini-me-zine”—will save readers lots of time and me lots of headaches.
Who are you?
I’m Dan Pink.
Who’s that?
Dan Pink is a husband, father, American, Leo, INTP, and idea merchant who lives in Washington, DC.
Anything else we need to know about him?
He’s the author of the widely acclaimed, surprisingly controversial, eminently readable, and reasonably priced book, Free Agent Nation. In the 2001 Marine Corps Marathon, he finished in 11,177th place. But since he doesn’t like writing about himself in the third person, he must put an end to these questions immediately.
